Fritzwa International Empowers 150 Youth in Sierra Leone with Vocational Skills Training

Fritzwa International, a non-governmental organization, has recently completed the training of 150 youth, mostly women, in bead-making and fabric craft in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This initiative was made possible through the sponsorship of Orange Telecommunications.

The organization, founded in 2012, has been committed to empowering vulnerable women in Ghana. Their official registration as an NGO on January 17, 2023, marks a significant milestone in their journey to make a difference in the lives of women across Africa.

Fritzwa International’s mission is to provide women with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to become self-sufficient and financially independent. The organization offers vocational training in fashion and textiles, including pattern drafting, garment making, hats and toys, bead making, fashion accessories, leatherworks, batik tie and dye, and screen printing. They also provide counseling, mentorship, and coaching to help women start and grow their businesses.

The 100 women who have completed the vocational skills training program will be equipped with the necessary skills to start their businesses and become self-sufficient. The training also aims to inspire these women to make a positive impact in their communities and take charge of their lives.

Fritzwa International’s commitment to empowering women across Africa is a testament to the organization’s dedication to making a difference in the lives of women. The training of 100 women in Sierra Leone is just one example of their efforts to support vulnerable women and promote their economic empowerment.

Through the provision of vocational skills training, counseling, mentorship, and coaching, Fritzwa International is enabling the youth, especially women to create a better life for themselves and their families. With the support of organizations like Orange Telecommunications, the impact of Fritzwa International’s work can be felt across the continent, and more women can be empowered to take charge of their lives and make a difference in their communities.
