Fritzwa International, a Ghana-based non-governmental organization focused on equipping vulnerable individuals with vocational skills, recently held a hat-making workshop for women in Gomoa Central. This initiative, aimed at fostering self-reliance and financial empowerment, was made possible through sponsorship from Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus.

A-Plus, a musician, social commentator, and aspiring independent Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, has been vocal about his commitment to community development. A-Plus aims to unseat the incumbent MP in the 2024 parliamentary elections, running as an independent candidate, a move he believes will bring authentic representation to the constituency​.
